Embodied Methods in Artistic Research
🗓️ Wednesday, 24 June — 10:10am
- 11:10am
(60 mins)
Abstract
This session brings together practitioners to explore how embodied, situated, and somatic approaches—such as body mapping, deep gazing, scrying, radical listening and sensory possibilities of language—challenge normative perceptions and reveal new insights. By centering artistic inquiry as a bodily, spatial, and interconnected process, the discussion will examine how these methods resist dominant narratives and foster alternative ways of knowing.
